Timecrimes | Limited Edition Slipcase | 4K UHD+Blu-ray

Most notable to international audiences for his 2016 indie sci-fi thriller Colossal, about a woman haunted by her unexpected connection with a world destroying kaiju, Timecrimes is the movie that put Spanish genre auteur Nacho Vigalondo on the map.

In any well-plotted time travel movie there are two major rules: 1) Don't interfere with important events; 2) Don't try to meet yourself. But what could really go wrong? After all, isn't the future already determined? Timecrimes is a fundamental text when it comes to exploring the tragic consequences of breaking those rules.

Starring noted Spanish actor Karra Elejalde, and using an absolute minimum of sets and effects, Timecrimes is a stripped down, bare bones, low budget sci-fi thriller that builds compelling drama out of fast-paced, focused filmmaking and creative ingenuity. A hidden gem for fans of sci-fi off the beaten path.
