Police Story III: Super Cop | 4K UHD+Blu-ray

Jackie Chan may have set himself an impossible task when he decided that future entries in the Police Story series needed to one-up the stunt-work delivered in the first film. And while the second entry may not have managed the task, Super Cop does its absolute damnedest to defy death at every turn.

With Michelle Yeoh making it clear that she wasn't about to be overshadowed by the kung fu superstar, Chan had no choice but to go bigger and better at every opportunity. Motorcycles, moving trains, helicopters. Super Cop has it all.

It's a shame that Criterion didn't include the third entry of the original trilogy in their box set. Fortunately 88 films has put out an excellent restoration of this film all on its lonesome. A must-have for fans of Jackie Chan and Hong Kong action filmmaking.
