Let the Right One In | Blu-ray

The difficulty with modern vampire movies is in finding stories that haven't already been done a hundred times before. Only possibly equaled by zombie films, no classic cinematic monster has produced such a gigantic body of work. 

Surprisingly then, a vampire in need of human companionship as something more than a stopover on the relationship between predator and prey feels like something that had never quite been so exactingly explored as it is in Let the Right One In.

A haunting, bloody film that also manages to be a quiet tale of innocence and friendship. A unique entry into an overstuffed genre.
